The 2019 Regular Season will start Sunday,  April 7th, 2019!

Industrial Baseball League of Northern Virginia

The Industrial Baseball League (IBL) is the premier wood bat league for unlimited age baseball talent in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Our players are current college, ex-college, and ex-professional players who want to play high quality, competitive baseball at a reasonable cost.

We play a 20+ game regular season schedule followed by a league tournament. Our season runs from April through the first weekend of August. The majority of our games are played at high school fields located in Fairfax County.  In 2018 we will also be playing games at George Mason High School in Falls Church City and other fields in Northern Virginia.  Some teams also participate in pre-, mid-, and post-season tournaments in addition to their IBL schedules. In past years, teams have been affiliated with the National Amateur Baseball Federation (NABF), the American Amateur Baseball Congress (AABC) and have competed in tournaments sponsored by those organizations.

The league is comprised of six (6) teams for the 2018 season. All teams in the Industrial League are independent teams. We do not have league tryouts. Most new players are already known to others on the team and are often past teammates from other teams.  For others interested in playing, we will pass along your information (position, age, level played, etc.) to all the coaches in the league. If there are openings, coaches will contact you. If you are a college player, ex-college player, ex-pro looking for a place to play, or if you have a team that you would like to enter into the league, please contact us at to discuss.
